Before Hyper Island I earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in Informatics from University West in Sweden. During my time there my interest for advertising sparked. Since then I have devoted myself, trying to turn that interest into a career.
Hyper Island has been called the digital Harvard. At the school there are no teachers, tests, books or grades. There’s a brief and a deadline.
I’ve also taken a distance course in copywriting at the Swedish advertising school Berghs. I did this to branch out of Hyper Island’s big focus on digital problem solving. It was a great experience, giving me a wider perspective on advertising and a chance to write for every medium.
I grew up in a small town in Sweden called Trollhättan. I tried every sport I could get my hands on: ice hockey, bandy, football (soccer), table tennis, swimming, tennis, taekwon-do, floorball and a few others. I even worked as an Ice Hockey referee for a few years. Growing up my curiosity to try and learn new things has stuck with me. And I think that’s why I want to work in advertising, because you get to explore new things all the time.
Right now I’m prowling Ad-land for a job. Email me and schedule a meeting, if you think I'd be a good fit in your agency.
